IronHorse Surveys LLC is an online provider of university recruitment evaluation tools. We design and host a wide range of quantitative assessment products to measure the effectiveness of client companies' recruitment initiatives, from sourcing techniques to customer feedback to retention analysis - the entire staffing continuum.
IronHorse Surveys LLC was created to address the convergence of two emerging workplace forces: the acknowledgment of continuous improvement as a powerful competitive analysis tool - and the state-of-the-art efficiency and cost-effectiveness of leveraging Web-based technologies. IronHorse Surveys LLC provides client companies with the full range of traditional evaluation and assessment methodologies - at Web speed.
IronHorse Surveys are hosted on our secure Web servers in West Hartford, Connecticut. Client companies provide us with target group contact information, and we manage the survey process from questionnaire design to data collection and reporting - all via the Internet. Survey participants are assured that their online responses will be reported to the client in aggregate only, thereby providing anonymity and encouraging candor - critical components of meaningful information gathering. And because targeted survey members will each be assigned a unique, encrypted set of credentials that authorize their participation, clients are therefore ensured of the integrity of the data that are generated - and the validity of the reported survey results.
IronHorse Surveys: A Joint Venture
IronHorse Surveys LLC was launched in 2001 as a joint venture of Scott Resource Group and The Aristos Company, both based in West Hartford, Connecticut. The firm's unique capabilities combine the professional expertise of its Managing Partners - Mary Scott (Surveys) and Jeff McGroary (Technology), whose independent consulting practices are described below.
Scott Resource Group
Founded in 1988 by Mary Scott, a career recruitment and staffing practitioner with over twenty-five years' experience in the field, Scott Resource Group is an international consulting and training organization specializing in university relations and recruitment. Clients have included such diverse organizations as: AT&T, ABB, Abbott Laboratories, Alcoa, the Bank of Montreal, Bernard Hodes Advertising, the Chubb Group, CIGNA, Fidelity Investments, General Electric, GE Capital, GE Harris, General Motors, GTE, Intel, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, NCR, PECO, Pillsbury, Procter & Gamble, Toyota Motor Sales, Travelers, and United Technologies Corporation. Prior to forming the firm, Mary was Director of Staffing at Aetna. She began her student recruitment career in college admissions at Saint Joseph College, where she earned her undergraduate degree. She also holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut.
The Aristos Company
Headed by John F. (Jeff) McGroary III, The Aristos Company is a provider of custom software solutions and Web-based applications to both Fortune 500 companies and major software development firms. Since its establishment in 1986, Aristos Company clients have included such organizations as Aetna, Ashton-Tate, cc.Mail, Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance, Credit Suisse First Boston, Lotus Development Corporation, Microsoft and Pitney Bowes. Jeff began his IT career at Aetna, where he was a software development manager in the automation services division. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
